Hormonal changes, stress or aging slow down metabolism and the ability to quickly eliminate fat. There are several eating mistakes that slow down your metabolism:
You drink too much alcohol.
Alcohol contains large amounts of sugar, which promotes fat accumulation. When you go to parties, try to drink only one drink.
Do not consume milk.
Lactates are ideal for removing fat around the waist. Calcium deficiency slows metabolism and weakens bone structure.
Don't drink coffee.
Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system, accelerates metabolism and confers energy. Every day, drink a small cup of coffee or green or black tea.
You eat a little.
When you don't give your body the necessary daily calories, your metabolism slows down. To get the nutrients it needs, the body begins to consume muscle mass.
Consume refined carbohydrates.
If you want to have an accelerated metabolism avoid the consumption of white flour, pasta, pastries and bakery. Opt for whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables.
You don't drink enough water.
The body needs hydration. Consume at least 6 glasses of water daily. To speed up your metabolism, add a few ice cubes to each glass.
Do not consume protein.
Proteins are extremely important in nutrition. The body needs protein to strengthen and maintain muscle mass. Consume lean poultry and beef, nuts and dairy.
